10/05/2019Free Senior Citizen tickets available

With the support of Steve Cartwright the Bailiff's Chief Officer, the charity Music in Action which runs the Liberation Festival is delighted to offer 300 free tickets for the senior citizens of the parishes to the Liberation Concert in the Liberation Festival on Friday 10th May at the Opera House.

We would be grateful if you could liaise with the Parishes in order to enable this offer to be taken up.

We anticipate that this will enable between 30 and 50 people from each participating parish to enjoy the concert which features 6 international soloists playing classical music including Schubert's Quintet for Strings as well as stories from islanders during the occupation and liberation.  We would ask that those attending consider giving a donation as they see fit to the Red Cross by way of a retiring collection.  Further details of the event can be seen on the Liberation Festival flyer which is attached.

Tickets can be claimed by emailing Emily and Alistair on officer@musicjersey.com and admin@musicjersey.com   More information about the Liberation Festival can be seen on www.liberationjersey.com
