Glass Recycling - The Department of Infrastructure would like to remind us when recycling glass of the following:

It is important that separated glass contains no impurities such as metal or plastic.  Metal or plastic bottle tops should be removed from glass bottles and any foodstuffs rinsed out prior to disposal.  On NO account should plastic bottles be disposed of with glass.  A further problem that is currently experienced is the number of households who dispose of their glass in plastic bags.  All glass should be left in a rigid container that the collector is able to tip into his vehicle with ease.

The whole collection will be left if any of the above requirements are not adhered to.

All refuse and glass out before 5:00 a.m. please

 PLEASE NOTE

It is also not permitted to put garden refuse in your dustbin.  The refuse contractor will not empty the bin if anything other than normal household refuse is in it.
